Nairobi has a population of more than 2,000,000. It’s a modern, vibrant commercial center and is constantly expanding.  It offers theatres, museums, cinemas, a huge variety of restaurants serving every type of food, shopping centres, markets, parks, a game park and a great range of accommodation.  In spite of some of its merits we don’t feel it’s a place to spend much time given the huge range of other options outside the city.  For us, Giraffe Manor is the exception.
