The Maasai Mara is world renowned for its concentration of animals and the migration and should certainly be on your itinerary if this is what you want to see and experience. The region is relatively complicated in terms of how it’s segregated, owned and organised and there are differences between them in terms of the landscape, which ranges from wide-open plains to rocky hills. We believe the three points for consideration for you as the customer are: volume of wildlife, volume of tourists and land use (namely whether the Maasai and their cattle live on the land and whether you are allowed to walk). Generally speaking where there is more wildlife there are more tourists. We have a cross section of camps and areas and can help you can make an informed decision about where best suites you.
