Kenya is a very beautiful and diverse country with a huge variety of landscapes including mountains, volcanoes, lakes, rivers, deserts, savannah grasslands, tropical rain forests, dunes and sandy beaches. As such it harbours an incredible variety and volume of animals and birds for which it’s famous.
It has 36 National Parks and Reserves and an ever-increasing number of private or community owned ventures. Generally speaking such ventures are geared towards the upper end of the tourism market as they offer a more personal experience than the more volume-based hotels in the National Parks.
Kenya has a beautiful coast line with coral reefs and warm waters offering swimming, snorkelling, diving, deep sea fishing, kite surfing and so on.
The people are friendly and almost everyone speaks English.
This combination of superb game viewing, dramatic and beautiful scenery, friendly people and a spectacular coastline continue to make it a premier holiday destinations. We hope our selection of camps and lodges go a long way to make the most of what the country has to offer.
