We decided to create Only Spectacular after living in Kenya for two years, and never finding a website that was just dedicated to the best places to stay and visit.  So many websites, in the attempt to catch as many sales as possible, represent any and all lodges and hotels.

This leads to huge confusion for a potential customer.  Also you run the risk of the sales person, not understanding your requirements entirely and your interpretation of expectations being wildly different.

What is unique and unspoilt to some, is completely different to others.

Therefore, we decided to create the Only Spectacular brand - a brand that you, the discerning traveller, can identify with.  By looking at the places we recommend you will understand what we mean by spectacular.  You'll start to trust our choices, understand what we mean in our descriptions.

If you are the sort of person who can't bear over zealous tourists or large, over bearing, anonymous hotels, then you are the sort of people who see eye to eye with us.

If you are fed up with scouring the internet for places, being told time and time again it is 'Luxury', then trust us to find you something that really will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
